Welcome Science enthusiasts. Today I will be commenting on the scientific element of one of the high street’s favourite cosmetic ingredient – Vitamin C.
So what makes Vitamin C so great? Why is it used in so many different skin enhancing products and formulas? Let’s dive straight into the details.
Since the discovery of vitamins, vitamin C has perhaps been the most researched and written about, and has found to be by far the most beneficial to your health when it comes to consuming it or applying it to skin.
Studies have proven that it not only downplays many different signs of raging, such as wrinkles, but also has restores your skin, hydrates and soothes it and even helps even out skin tone.
Quite simply, it is a miracle worker!
After learning about all of this, I decided to put it to the test. I wanted to research a number of different products that contained the special ingredient, and pick one out that I think could have a deep affect on my skin.
The product I eventually found was something called Hyaluronic Acid Vitamin C Serum by Lunar.
I found this stuff online and decided to give it a go as I’d heard such great reviews. I certainly was not disappointed.
After just 2 weeks of use (applying every night just before bed) I could see a noticeable difference in my skin. I’m not certain whether that was the vitamin doing the work, or a different ingredient. Either way I was seriously impressed with the results.
Not only did my skin look great, it also felt great too – so hydrated and soft. Since incorporating it into my daily routine my skin has literally felt and looked five years younger. If you’re thinking your skin could do with a pick-me-up then look no further than this stuff. It’s ace!
